JOB DESCRIPTION

The affiliate & KOL specialist is a dedicated creator-first role focused entirely on building, managing, and scaling a high-performing affiliate and KOL (key operation leader) network for clients’ TikTok Shop brands. With singular focus on creator affiliate and KOL marketing, this role drives traffic, GMV, and content volume through strategic creator relationships.

The affiliate & KOL specialist works in close collaboration with the TikTok Shop Manager, who owns the TikTok Shop account side. This role does not cover paid advertising (including GMV Max setup) or direct shop account operations.

Qualifications and experience

• 3+ years experience in influencer marketing, creator management, or social commerce affiliate marketing.
• Proven track record growing and managing large creator networks.
• Strong analytical skills: comfortable with Data Compass, sample ROI, and affiliate KPI dashboards.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Experience with outreach and affiliate management tools (Euka, Kalodata).
• Deep understanding of TikTok content formats, live streaming, and affiliate programme mechanics.
• Strong brief-writing skills, able to translate brand strategy into actionable creator guidance.
• Highly organised, able to manage hundreds of creator relationships and daily data workflows simultaneously.

Responsibilty

• Affiliate Strategy & Campaign Planning
Define affiliate GMV targets, content KPIs, tier structure, and commission framework per client.
Develop monthly and campaign-specific affiliate briefs.
Research competitor commission structures and recommend competitive rates.
Plan affiliate seeding strategy: sample volume, target creator tiers, and expected ROI.
Coordinate with the Shop Manager on campaign timing and promotional mechanics.

• Creator Sourcing & Recruitment
Source and contact creator affiliates at scale on a daily basis via TikTok DM, WhatsApp, and outreach tools.
Identify high-potential affiliates and mega-creators through analytics and competitor research.
Explore MCN and TAP partnership opportunities.
Produce affiliate recruitment content on the client’s official account.
Convert existing customers into affiliates.

• Onboarding & Sample Management
Evaluate and approve or reject sample requests based on defined KPI criteria.
Ensure all affiliates sign a Statement of Work (SOW) before samples are dispatched.
Manage sample dispatch, delivery tracking, and documentation.
Onboard affiliates with a comprehensive brief: brand tone, content direction, posting schedule, and spark code requirements.

• Content Direction & Briefing
Develop and distribute weekly content briefs to all active affiliates.
Maintain and share a daily content bank: winning references, hooks, captions, and trending formats.
Conduct monthly community sessions to review performance and align on upcoming campaigns.
Provide individual feedback to affiliates to improve content quality and conversion rate.

• Posting & Delivery Tracking
Monitor daily affiliate video uploads and live sessions.
Collect spark codes from all affiliates daily and input into the master tracking sheet.
Submit spark codes to the Ads team for GMV Max activation.
Verify posting compliance against SOW commitments.

• Performance Analysis & Optimisation
Analyse daily affiliate performance: GMV per affiliate, GMV per video, GMV per live session, and sample ROI.
Identify top-performing and underperforming affiliates and take action accordingly.
Monitor and optimise outreach analytics: join rate, posting rate, and sales conversion rate.

• Affiliate Programme Management & Scaling
Manage the Open Programme and the Targeted (Betarget) Programme.
Build and manage tiered affiliate communities (broadcast channel, open group, premium group).
Implement the full affiliate treatment framework: content support, sample rewards, commission escalation, bonuses, and retainer arrangements for top creators.

• Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Produce weekly or monthly affiliate performance reports for the Shop Manager and client.
Document lessons learned and update briefs, SOPs, and outreach templates after each campaign.
Stay current on TikTok algorithm changes and content trends; implement learnings in creator briefs.
